April Showers
The silent blue sky let out an unexpected whimper as the gray rushed in violently. Sal knew what was approaching: the first of the mid- April showers. He looked down at the cowarding pink flowers as they prepared to be trampled by the incoming rains. In an instant, he saw a flash of turbulent white crossing the sky. He put on his electric blue rain coat and walked away, wreaking of molded defeat.
